ATTENTION COACHES
If you are interested in coaching an SYBL team in the 2012 season, please plan to attend the annual coaches meeting (date TBD) and complete a CORI form.
All coaches with SYBL are required to complete a yearly CORI form and are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
-ability and patience to work with children
-good communications skills with children and parents
-on line acknowledgment of coaches code of conduct
-manager/coach in good standing
-CORI on file
-off field contributions to the league
-Ripken coaching certified (minors and majors)
-knowledge of baseball
-willingness to attend monthly meetings
-willingness to volunteer at special events
-willingness to work in the concession stand
-willingness to notify board of any parent issues
-commitment to child safety
-commitment to teach all players and not just focus on your own child or just the best players
-commitment to representing SYBL and the town of Sutton in the best light
-commitment to ensuring proper travel etiquette with players and families, if travel is required
